Summary: Severus doesn’t want a relationship with Potter, nor does he love Potter. He simply wants Potter, and some nights, he has him.
Why I loved it:
Severus Snape is in bed withsleeping beauty Harry Potter, watching him, fondling him and all the while thinking about their relationship. According to Snape they have nearly none though they 'seek out nights of comfort from each other'. This little ficlet is wonderful. Snape's voice is spot-on; harsh, direct, descriptive, and there is this nagging part of his brain, that's wondering how he ended up in this position and why he can't stop wanting the boy/man next to him. It's fantastic and - though very short - intense. I loved it.
blithelybonny wrote it for her snowflake challenge. Congrats on writing a new pairing brilliantly! I already asked for an encore and she might be willing. To encourage her, go and read this wonderful story (one can manage to read ~800 words in between other things, right?) and leave some love. I'm in dire need of a whole series about those two! ♥
