Oh yes, and the fabulous hp_nextgen_fest posted its last entry yesterday. The update of the 3rd week should be up soon, the anon masterlist too. It was a bit slowgoing this year and I'm not sure if that's due to people not being here anymore, disinterest, or busy lives. I still hope some of you will take the time and read some of the fabulous entries. My favourites will go up in a rec post after the revealed masterlist is up. But yeah, take a look. There're some hidden treasures to find.

Reveals are up at hp_nextgen_fest. Wasn't it a wonderful fest? I had a wonderful time following it.

My entry was Al's Fixation (AO3, LJ) and I'm beyond happy, how it was received. I got some fantastic comments and am still over the moon that some people were lured by it, even though its kink (asphyxiation) is not everybody's cup of tea.

I had such a good time writing this fic and now it's one of the few stories I'm really proud of.

Many thanks to candamira who told me things like 'no, the ending isn't too sweet' and 'yes, the ending has a good twist' and who helped me from the start, when I had the hardest time to choose between asphyxiation and somnophilia as the story's kink (seriously, I can really picture them going for somnophilia as well...).
Lots of thanks go to iwao who hopefully will see this post. I loved our discussion about choking and stragulating: Even though the results, decreased levels of oxygen in the brain, are the same, it's a difference if you cut the blood flow or the air flow of a person, and who encouraged me to write how one might feel during that process. She made the story so much better, and was the first who fell hard for this Al. :D
Thank you this_bloody_cat who told me to disguise this story as an Albus/Scorpius prompt, so we could smuggle it directly under the nose of the birthday girl into her fest.
Last but not least I have to thank gracerene who is so full of love for all the nextgen characters. It was a pleasure to be part of this wonderful fest!
