Sorry, f-list. Our Wifi at home has been working fine since the technican was there on Tuesday afternoon, but I've been really busy with catching up on fandom things, doing some blog things (I'm still writing reviews for our book blog) and reading lots of fics.
An add to the Wifi disaster. The technican changed a device and activated it. Took him 5 minutes, but we had to wait nearly a week until he got here. Great service, phew!
Finally, I've managed to put all my already written Harry/Draco recs into my recs Masterlist. I've backdated the list and hope LJ gets confused and don't send a bunch of pings out.
Anything else?
Oh, yes. Today I realised at work that I'm nearly finished with this big huge text I've been working on (on and off- because daily business needs to be prioritized) for more than half a year. I have no clue how long this text is going to be in the end, but - if I should take a guess - it will be around 250 pages in a word doc, without any sources and without background information [around 40 texts of background information] - it is a HUGE thing).
It's such a good feeling to finally reach this first mile stone (there will be two rounds of editing which is SOP). The only 'bad' thing about it, at the end of October the new German guideline on the topic will be published and then I need to check the whole thing again (but my boss and I are positive the new structure can stay as it is). And yes, it was necessary to work on it these last months. The whole therapy chapter in the old text is a mess and in small parts not up-to-date (though I've been working on that text too, to keep it as good as possible...).
