So I've been away from the internet for a while. And while I was away I was drawing. I kind of have a thing for tattoos, and author nia_kantorka wrote this little drabble called Ashes Left Behind that was really beautiful and got me all worked up and itching to draw. It's a really visual little fiction and I highly suggest reading it if you haven't already. Anyway, here's the drawing I did after being all inspired. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but I like it well enough :)

Mmmmhmmm, as you say - it's stunning! Love how it covers almost all of Draco's back and still looks so light and beautiful. The colours are gorgeous, and the ash flakes trickling down until they disappear in Draco's crack are a very creative and humorous detail. Of course I'll leave Phil some love on her original post! Yes, there's no greater compliment than inspiring someone else's muse and I'm so grateful that it happened here. I mean it was the first thing I ever wrote. It's not the best ever written fic and just a few words, but I still love it very much, because it got me started. So many things to be thankful for today, but I'll need to write another post about it and will do so tomorrow. Today's about this pic and about nothing else. ♥
