I'm hopeless, but I think akatnamedeaster's idea was just too lovely to do nothing about it. So, I had to draw something. Porn was out though, because wtf human anatomy. So, for reference I took this lovely Hedwig here

and tried to put her on such a cuppa filled with whatever hot beverage you like


That's the result:

Of course it's all magic that Hedwig doesn't knock the mug over. ;p

I wish it had my name on that cup, though! :D *needs coffee* She's totally beautiful, and I dare say that your past profession definitely shines through into the drawing! I love the little clawed feet saying: Back off, this one's for my boy Harry! I wonder, did you ever have to treat an actual owl? I petted one last year at the Medieval day and they're so soft it's ridiculous! :)

Aww, your Hedwig is the cutest! I want to scratch her behind her invisible owl ears! (Beside her fluffiness distracting her to snatch that yummy coffee might also be a good motivation. ;-) ) Great job, sweetheart. No better model than a snow owl when it's almost 40°C!
