SED - Last one in May...

I did a lot of fandom things in May:

• I managed to post 27 out of 31 days in May. My life isn't that interesting, so it was quite a suprise that I found so many things to talk about. Hope it wasn't too boring.


• Mmh, everytime I look at snowgall's (Links here for her f-list) top/bottom spreadsheet there are new fics empty in the top/bottom column in 2012? I'm sure nobody wants to mess with my head, but I'm also sure I read 24 of the 26 fics I wanted to add (and screened the other 2). You know, the data of 51 of 77 were already in before I started...
  Friends, please be careful. I just realised that one can easily erase some data. Just saying, because it nearly happend to me, and well, there is still information missing on 5 fics though I have entered some more information these past two days.


• Yes, I've read a lot of Harry/Draco fics from 2012 holiday fest inbetween all my Sherlock and Inception and Avenger and whatnot fics- and enjoyed it very much. LOL Even left some comments and kudos on the ones I really liked though I'm not sure the author's will see soon. It felt good to do so. :D


• I managed to write one and a half b-day fics- one for my lovely friend candamira (Victor and Victims) the other with her (Sacrifice and Illusion). I'm really grateful for the feedback they both got.

You did too, didn't you? Your world tour series was/is one of my favourites next to the posts about your daily life. That was the best thing about SED - to get to know some people better and to get a lot of feedback. :D

Oh thank you for this! I do wonder sometimes if any data is getting lost. I do go in every couple of days and do a backup, though, so that will help with some of it. Also, I *think* that the google docs keeps a record of the most recent changes, so if data loss happened recently we should be able to find it.

I stumbled across that feature a few months ago and I'm not sure now where it is, but I do think that google docs does keep a record somehow.

What I can't figure out is how/why the first row keeps getting unlocked? I "freeze" it (in the view options) so that when you sort by any given column the column headers don't sort too. But sometimes I go in and they've been unfrozen and sorted in with the data and I have to fix it. I wonder about it :)

Ah, good to know about the backup. I've started to get worried a bit.

I only saw that it's sometimes sorted after years and then not. But that's not really a problem.

I just checked. If you go to the sheet and look under the "File" menu, there's an option for "see revision history". It will show you what the chart looked like at various points in the past (navigation along the right hand side). So you can see if anything got lost. Just *don't* choose to "restore sheet to previous version" or we will lose all the current stuff :)

I took a quick look back at May 28th and I see where you had highlighted the fics that you were intending to fill in, but it looks like perhaps you hadn't quite highlighted all of the ones that were needed in 2012, so maybe nothing got lost? You can double-check for yourself. I don't want you to think anyone is trying to mess with your head!

Ah, thank you! And I made an error in reasoning. There were more than 26 gaps in the top/bottom column in 2012. I always counted only those 26 from your post for volunteers *shakes head at herself for being stupid*.
So, nobody messed with my head, but there are still some missing cells. Damn. And now with Smooch running, I'm not sure how fast I'll be able to fill in the data of those last fics. But we'll get there. I'm determined to get out of the battle with that sheet as a winner. ;P
