Day 5 - Six songs that you’re addicted to

Ok, I'm picking some I'm addicted to now. So, when the next meme is going on I'll pick other songs. I would probably pick others tomorrow too. My love for music is like the sea, endless but never the same.

1. Golden Years by David Bowie. On this list due to one of the most wonderful Sherlock fics I've ever read.
2. Summer Nights by Scheinizzl & Chroph (feat. David Lageder). That's my current favourite song from Robin Schulz' album Extended Prayer and it's gorgeous. Only one out of 21 songs I can't stand.
3. I Bet My Life by Imagine Dragons. Do take a look at the vid. Dane Dehaan in full glory. It was recced by susannah_wilde some time ago.
4. Fireproof by The National. That voice. *melts into a puddle*
5. Give Me Sunshine by Santa Maradona F. C. (feat. Graham Candy). Already recced it in fall- still makes me smile.
6. Things We Lost In The Fire by Bastille. Though it's from 2013 I love this song.

When I was in junior high, my older step-sister was a HUGE David Bowie fan and pretty much anything he did before 1985 is burned into my brain. LOL That said, it's not a bad thing at all and Golden Years is a good one.

Oh, my mother was a Bowie fan as well. And I remember the LP cover from Heroes standing in our living room or the vid from Let's Dance when I was 8 or 9. :D

I need to listen to the voice making you melt into a puddle - I love voices which can do that to me (like the one of Alex Max, or Samu Whatshisname/singer of Sunrise Avenue).

And Bowie certainly is a classic.

I'm ashamed to admit I've only heard the Bastille one. Maybe I'll make it a personal goal to listen to everyone's list. It's such a great way to discover new stuff :D

Haha, well that's actually a bit nice to hear. Whenever I put them on my bf just gives me this resigned look. Although I've caught him humming along so I'll count that as a win. I love seeing people's music, so this was a great meme day <33

The song was always awesome but now someone has given me some perfect headcanon. And now I'll never be able to listen to it without thinking about that Sherlock and that John. LOL
Just like I think about Harry and Draco when I listen to Rose Tattoo. :D
