It might be no sportsmanship but I can't read so many H/D fics in one go at the moment. It know it's festival time and the most lovely fics were written for these fests, but I'm satiated. Over these past days I started to mix fics up and sometimes couln't even remember what I've read some hours ago. So, I'm downloading them all and will read them over time- hopefully, with all the joy and praise they'll deserve. And I'll be back and leave comments and love for all the authors.

But now I need to do some Christmas crafting, read some other things to relax, and stay away from my keyboard as much as possible.

I feel like I am failing fandom b/c I just don't have the time nor the patience to read H/D fics that all all over 15,000

I am exhausted and I know what you mean by... mixing fics up.

I mixed up a couple of Harry/Sirius/Draco fics I've been reading, haha...

Mab is a busy girl these days, so she says she doesn't have much fandom time. I'm guessing she will poke her head in now and then. Maybe more during holiday break.

I'm with you on the feeling about the fics! I feel horrible because I so wanted to keep up with Erised and Owlpost but I just can't. :( I'm mixing up everything I read, so I decided to take a break and wait till I can at least leave a proper comment for all the amazing fics out there. :)

LOL, I feel ya! I've actually read two RL books and several fics in other fandoms to space out the H/D. :D

Oh dear, I totally understand. I needed a short break, too, and had to read something entirely different (and in German) before I was able to face the 81k-fic on Erised. Which is SO exceptionally great that I'm more than glad I read it! I'll try to be a good fandom-girl and keep up the stamina to read and comment as much as I can.

I feel exactly the same. This is usually the time when I start feeling like there are a few dozen too many fests. I can't possibly keep up and I know I'm missing some awesome fic. I have to rely on those rec'ing fic, but even then I'm woefully behind. I'm not kidding when I say I will be reading holiday fic in July. I start to get saturated and just have to step away for a bit.

Aww. Yes, fandom can be a bit overwhelming this season. But I hope people still are enthusiastic about fests and stuff. Artists, writers work so hard to make this season special, you know?
