Deadlines...

Time to face the truth. I'm spending too much time on LJ and too little on other things I need to do very badly.

First, there is my erised fic- which is slowly driving me insane. But I wanted it, now I have to face it.

Second, I have a deadline at work for giving a presentation before a bunch of strangers in a town nearly five hours drive away (thank f**k for that).

Third, our queen of terror (on good days known as little one) will be 4y old on Wednesday, and mummy needs to bake muffins and whatnot for kindergarten (and mummy hates baking). And mummy needs to plan and organise the party we'll have in a fortnight. Is there a worse punishment for sins than a children's birthday party?

Fourth, I abandoned books during Rectober and it was ok, but now it's November and I've started a lovely book today. I named my e-readers after these two, and it's the final book in the series, and I'm so in love with them.

Fifth, yes, I want to read ALL the fics, but it ain't gonna happen, so I'm sticking to 1-4 until I've reached my deadlines. Please, with me luck. :)

Meh, I've done nothing but procrastinated this whole bloody day (and last night included), lurking around the LJ and other sources of fics whenever the Dracula and his baby brother decided to go and suck on someone's else life-force (precious few minutes the whole day!) :P I guess it's just that kind of fucked-up unproductive weekend, there are other people also whining about it - must be something in the air, then. *washes her hands and fills totally unapologetic and smug about being lazy... yeah, right :P*
Don't mention the word "presentation" to me, it has a better chance of offing me than an actual virus! *head starts rolling like in Exorcist* I've got a room full of eager Albanian businessmen written somewhere in my future and it's just... no. :P My sympathies are well and truly with you on this one!
Thank you lord, that my BF is a baking prodigy and that there is a general understanding in the family that you just don't go and ask your mom for kitchen-related stuff. You just... don't do that. It's a complete loss of time, good sentence and possibly dangerous. Food -> head towards papa. Other Dobby-related stuff -> ring a bell for mom. Again - my pity for you is deep and heart-felt. *hugs for endless supply of energy and creativity for pulling everything through*

Oh, please, you poor dear over-worked soul, do everything else first, my infinity mail isn't going anywhere (unless LJ decides to vampirize again and devour it)!
Do the presenting, the baking, the being super-mom stuff - and then when you've been well and truly rested, drop me a line. Not going anywhere. Well, in a literary sense, I've got to be at work tomorrow at 8. ;)
