I actually have a few pieces of the Berlin Wall that I treasure. My step-dad was a WWII vet and it was very important to him to get on a plane and fly to Germany and take his hammer and pick and join in the destruction. He came home with a pile of pieces and felt much better for it. He's been gone now for 15 years, but I hold my little pieces of that wall very dear to my heart. The symbolism of what they represent is worth everything.
