Haven't done a pimping post in a while. Those are the fests I'm looking forward to the most at the moment.

I've left out hd_erised because I'm not sure that'll be able to read much of H/D in December. For one I'm still satiated from smoochfest and I've signed-up for Winter holmestice for the first time. So, I'll be probably reading a lot of Holmes fics from different fandoms and with different pairings. I'm afraid, I've become an even bigger fandom hopper than last year and cannot read too many fics of one pairing.

I can't wait for next-gen either! :) Maybe darkarts darkfest as well, who knows what comes up. I'm too much in a jam lately to be able to write much and I hope my schedule clears some by the new year, because I at least want to do Ron/Draco. I'd love to do Scorpius/Weasleys and Harry/Ron one, but I can't really see all of it happening, the RL simply interferes too much, so I'm going to have to prioritize. I haven't even managed to reply to your DM yet, I'm so sorry, I'll try to do my best to do so in the next week or so. But! I decided to go to the HP play in London next year and I already had my first row with BF about it, which is a good sign, because now I'm *really* going, out of spite if nothing else, ha! :) I'm like this Mexican proverb: They tried to bury us, they didn't know we were seeds. ;)

Thanks for the darkages pimp! I'm also pretty excited for hp_darkarts, next gen, and the art fest. Erised is the only HD fest I'll be following in December, otherwise I will definitely get HD overload.

I haven't written mich fic lately, but at least some recs and reviews. That has to change as soon as I'm getting my assignment. Tbh, I'm terrified and exited at the same time. :)

Well Ron/Draco is schedulded. Maybe I'll manage kink too. I love that fest and be unhappy if I couldn't make it.

Ah that play. I'm not feeling very excited about all the announcements. Why do we need a sequel? Didn't she tell us she wouldn't do that. Old say, mh. But don't mind my complaints. It's just that I don't want new canon (that's why I've avoided Pottermore for ages too).
I'm sure you'll have fun though and London is always worth a visit.

Oh, which fest are you getting the assignment for? Is that together with pairing or is the pairing pre-set already? I'll keep my fingers crossed you'll get something completely yummy to do! :)
I'll try with Ron/Draco as well, but I hope they allow own prompts, I'll just write whatever salad grows on my garden at the moment. Good luck with managing to get the kink one done as well, you know I'll read anything of yours. :)
Well, I think I might be the oldest person sitting in the audience of that play, LOL! None of the first generation Potter fans I've been talking to is really excited to go - but I am!
For once, I love theatre and I haven't been to see anything other than children's plays since that time I saw Rupert's Mojo in 2013, that's how miserable my social life is.
Secondly, I definitely need an adventure and a HP related theatre play is as good as excuse as it gets. Maybe I'll even manage to take my boys with me - I have a friend there that could watch them for that one day that I'm busy with the play and I'd really like them to see a few things with me. We probably couldn't afford a long visit, but just going with the plane for my little one would be an adventure. :)
And last but not least, I'm excited about the play. That "all was well" sentence always felt... well, not wrong (obviously you want them to live happily ever after, it's just not very likely), but off somehow, and I'm looking forward to meet the new Potter hero, even if it's not Harry anymore - I ready to give Albus a chance and that exploratory and curious spirit inside of me makes me intrigued about what they came up with. I've never really written that many canon Potter stories, so that won't effect any of my writing, but I'm ready to enjoy a new instalment of the magical realm, because that's the kind of a sucker I am, LOL. I think I must be missing a touch of magic in my RL to be so desperate to get it elsewhere. :) Here you go, self-psychoanalysis par excellence ;), but I'm really excited about it. I'd probably go if I was the only person in the audience. :D

haha, the woes of multi-shipping, multi-fandoming!! I love it though, I know I couldn't just read one pairing in one fandom forever and ever, I need variety. :D

The assignment for the fest. It's Holmestice which means it's a complicated matching process (similar to erised I think). Everyone posted their wishlists. Those included what Sherlock Holmes fandom(s) we would write for (eg Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock BBC, Elementary, Ritchie films, Granada series and more), what pairings, and we also told our likes/dislikes and gave some prompts or directions. Now we're about to getting matched (today/tomorrow) and as soon as I know my giftee, I can tell you more. :D

Ron_Draco_fest. As far as I remember the rules, you'll be able to write your own prompt.

Kink fest. Well, I love to write kinky prompts and the fest's diversity. But one doesn'T necessarily need that fest to write a kink fic. Kinks are easily smuggled into a lot of fests. ;p

Oh, I love theatre as well. I get your points, I really do. Yet, I don't want to know that about about the characters happiness/unhappiness because I find it so awesome that we can do what we want with the nextgen boys and girls. You know, I fear it will be much more restricted afterwards because there will be presented the 'new canon' and then you have to post everything else as an AU. I'm sure one has problems as a creator to let their characters go. And often that is going to be the death of their (the characters) charme.
Well, we'll see what happens.
