Oh, it was necessary. I wasn't happy. Not about being a vet, but about being on call all the time (and that would have been unlikely to change ever). So I needed to do something else. Now I have a lovely part-time job, do something useful nonetheless, and am happy.

It's beautiful. If you'll ever have enough time and money (one needs both), you should take the trip. It's so worth it! :D
