I've been away for four days and had the most amazing time:

  • I visited my grandmother in my birth town. She wanted me to meet the steward who takes care of her house (with a lot of flats). My grandmother is 85 and did the job until last winter and got stressed by the whole thing (being an old landlady isn't fun when one is living in the same building with the tenants). But for years she told us (her children and grandchild) a steward would be to expensive. So, at the end of last year she finally gave in. Yeah. Last Thursday we met this man and we talked about the house and other stuff and had a nice dinner together (Portuguese, yummy). This guy is not only a friend of my grandmother (my grandmother is the godmother of his sister) but very nice and attentive. I'm very happy about the whole thing.

  • The next day grandmother and I walked through my birth town and the weather was great and we had a really good time. I love this town. And as you can see it is quite charming. That river is the Rhine.

  • I left my birth town, and visited a friend of mine I hadn't seen in three years. We had a wonderful time and a lot of fun catching up on each others lives. I was slightly boozed up when I went to bed that night.

  • The next day I rented a car and drove to my schools youth holiday camp where a few people from my old school year met. We celebrated that we reached our A levels 20 years ago. Yes, I'm that old.
It was great to met again. I'd laughed and talked so much that my throat was hushky the following day. We heard music from our teen years, made a barbecue, and had a lot of fun.

  • Yesterday I travelled home and didn't do much else except snuggling up Mr. Kantorka and my little one. I went to bed with the little one (at 9pm) because I was knackered.

  • I try to catch up with everyone ASAP. :D
